The Los Angeles County Small Business Resiliency Program offers valuable business advising to small businesses throughout Los Angeles County to support their recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic and resiliency against future disruptions.
What We Offer
On-Demand Courses
This baseline curriculum is a prerequisite for one-on-one business advising. Assigned courses will help provide you with the technical skills necessary for your business to grow and thrive in a changing environment.
One-on-One Business Advising
An experienced advisor will be assigned to you to address the unique needs of your business, including acquiring new capital and customers, understanding financial and risk management, adjusting business models, and operating under new safety regulations.
Recovery Grants
This portion of the program is now closed.
Available now for LA County Small Businesses that have experienced significant losses in 2020. Grant distribution based on eligibility requirements and limited to a select number of businesses. Program eligibility requirements are separate from grant eligibility requirements. Grant distribution is NOT based on a first come, first served basis. Eligibility is contingent on completing on-demand prerequisite courses and business advising.
How the Program Works
Step 1: Submit an Application

Step 2: Complete On-Demand Courses
This baseline curriculum is a prerequisite for one-on-one business advising.
Step 3: One-on-One Business Advising
Based on the unique needs of your business, an experienced advisor will be assigned to you.
Step 4: Complete Additional On-Demand Courses
Online learning that you can complete at your own pace.
Step 5: Apply for a Grant
Complementary for your participation and completion. Grant distribution based on eligibility requirements and limited to a select number of businesses.
Program Eligibility
Small businesses located in Los Angeles County are eligible for this program if they meet the following qualifications:
1. Owned by Black, Hispanic, or Other People of Color
2. 20 or fewer employees
3. 2 or more years in operation
4. Focus on businesses located in Low-to-Moderate income census tracts
Grant Eligibility - This portion of the program is now closed.
Small businesses located in Los Angeles County are eligible for this grant if they meet the following qualifications:

2. 10 or fewer employees
3. 2 or more years in operation
4. Focus on businesses located in Low-to-Moderate income census tracts
5. Experienced significant loss ($20,000 or more) in 2020.
Recovery grant distribution is NOT based on a first come, first served basis. Eligibility is contingent on completing on-demand prerequisite courses and business advising.
