The Center’s Bridging Unique Investments to Leverage Development (B.U.I.L.D.) Incubator helps developers create affordable housing without relying on low-income housing tax credits (LIHTC). By providing access to bond financing, mentorship, and technical assistance, the program removes barriers and supports sustainable, community-driven development. The B.U.I.L.D. program is generously supported by US Bank and the California Community Reinvestment Corporation, which also serves as an implementation partner alongside California Community Builders. Meet the inaugural B.U.I.L.D. cohort—innovators shaping the future of real estate, affordable housing, and thriving communities.
