Household Relief Grant Program
In 2025, The Center administered the LA County Household Relief Grant program in partnership with the Los Angeles County Department of Consumer and Business Affairs (DCBA), delivering $31M+ in direct support to 3,425 households severely impacted by the wildfires. The program helped families stabilize in the immediate aftermath of the disaster, prevent displacement, and begin the path toward recovery during an especially uncertain period.
Emergency Rent Relief Program
Led by DCBA in partnership with The Center, the LA County Emergency Rent Relief Program helps stabilize households facing financial hardship tied to economic disruptions and destabilizing events. The program provides financial assistance to eligible landlords and displaced homeowners dealing with unpaid rent, mortgage payments, and related housing expenses. A previous LA County rent relief program delivered more than $81 million for COVID-era rental debt between 2023 and 2024.
